Welcome to the Tom Clare Site
Tom (or Tommy Clare) was Stoke City's first professional footballer. He also played for England, receiving four caps.
He was our great grandfather's brother. This website is a tribute to him.
The picture to the right is of Tom when he played for England against Scotland in 1894.
